3D modelling for different applications

Since the foundation of BKR Ingenieurbüro GmbH approx 20 years ago the CAD as-built documentation is an important business field of the company. From the very beginning the reliability of the CAD data is top priority. In the years since foundation we thus have been able to gain a lot of experience in CAD as-built documentation. More than 10 years ago, as BKR started to work with 3D laser scanning, it was no question to also us our competences in the area of CAD documentation for the processing of laser scanning data to 3D models. Our customers benefit now from this know-how because we are able to provide customized solutions for 3D modelling. With the point cloud as basis we either create simple interfering edge models in MicroStation or AutoCAD but also, in the area of building engineering, intelligent models in Tricad, in architecture in Speedicon ord AutoCAD Revit respectively in AVEVA LaserModeller for plant engineering. For the Digital Factory we are creating complete 3D models, for plant engineering we are modelling only the areas or objects which are important for the planning of the customer. For architecture we can provide everything starting from the simple volume model to the complete 3D model including roof structure. Depending on the situation we adapt to the given data structure of the customer or provide our own developed data models. 3D models can be provided for different applications, thus there are many different detail requirements, like
